Ultrasound of hip joints
Ultrasound of the hip joints is an examination in which a specialist can determine dysplasia, subluxation or dislocation of the hip. It is very important to detect these pathologies before a year, because if this is not done in the early stages and adequate treatment is not carried out, there is a significant risk of disability. Early diagnosis of hip joint pathologies in children under one year can avoid future surgery.

Indications for research
- different leg lengths;
- asymmetric buttock folds;
- the hips are retracted with difficulty or, on the contrary, too sharply;
- the presence of clicks in the hip joints;
- hypertonus or weakness of the muscles of the lower extremities.
It is also recommended that premature children, multiple pregnancies, and those with a hereditary factor undergo hip joint examination in children up to one year old.

Preparation for research
There is no special preparation for the procedure. The main thing is to think over the child's clothes in such a way that it is possible to quickly, without unnecessary discomfort, free the lower part of the body, and then also quickly dress the child.
