Ultrasound of the hip joints

What you need to know about hip ultrasound
Ultrasound of the hip joints is an examination in which a specialist can determine dysplasia, preluxation or dislocation of the hip. It is very important to detect these pathologies before the age of one, because if this is not done in the early stages and adequate treatment is not carried out, there is a significant risk of disability. With early diagnosis of pathologies of the hip joints in children under one year old, surgical intervention in the future can be avoided.

Also, examination of the hip joints in children under one year of age is recommended for premature babies, multiple pregnancies, and those with a hereditary factor.
