How to prepare for an abdominal examination

The study is performed in the morning, on an empty stomach, it is allowed to drink plain still water. Children under 3 years old and people suffering from diabetes can come after eating a light meal. If the study is scheduled for the afternoon, you can have breakfast, but the break between meals and ultrasound should be at least 6 hours. Two days before the study, exclude legumes, cabbage, radishes, grapes, apples and apple juice, carbonated drinks, grape juice, black bread, milk, sweets, dill from your diet.
