Two days before the study, exclude from the diet legumes, cabbage, radish, grapes, apples and apple juice, carbonated drinks, grape juice, black bread, milk, sweets, dill. Adults are recommended to drink about 1 liter of still water one hour before the examination of the urinary system. Children should be given water to drink 20 minutes before the ultrasound. Do not urinate before the procedure. Ultrasound is performed transabdominally.
