D-dimer is a marker of thrombus formation and fibrinolysis, which is one of the products of blood clot breakdown.
  • Indications for analysis

    suspicion of deep vein thrombosis (exclusion test);
    pulmonary embolism;
    disseminated intravascular coagulation syndrome (DVZ);
    complicated course of pregnancy (gestosis, preeclampsia, diabetes and kidney disease).

  • How to prepare for the analysis?
    In the morning on an empty stomach, you can drink clean still water. Venous blood from 2 years. The day before, you need to exclude fatty or spicy food and alcohol from the diet, as well as physical activity.
