early detection of insulin resistance;
differential diagnosis between type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes;
determination of the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases (atherosclerosis, arterial hypertension, ischemic heart disease, thromboembolism of the extremities);
the presence of signs of metabolic disorders (increased blood pressure, lipid metabolism disorders, obesity);
additional examination to determine insulin resistance in diseases of the kidneys, liver, and endocrine diseases;
dynamic monitoring of the patient's condition during the treatment of insulin resistance. -
