Clinical analysis of urine (urgent)

Clinical urinalysis is a urinalysis, which is the fastest, most accessible and most informative method of diagnosis, which can detect a large number of diseases and determine up to 20 indicators.

  • Indications for analysis
    diagnosis of metabolic disorders;
    diagnosis of inflammatory and/or infectious processes of the urinary tract;
    determination of malfunctions in the biliary system;
    during preventive and dispensary monitoring.
  • How to prepare for the analysis?
    For analysis, it is desirable to collect an average portion of the child's morning urine. A special sterile container or a urinal, bought at a pharmacy or at the "Mamin Dom" polyclinic, is used for collection; you can also use clean, sterile, dry dishes.
    Before collecting urine, the child must perform a thorough toileting of the genitals (wash with a soapy solution, rinse with running water).
    One day before sampling, it is not recommended to eat foods that can change the color of urine (carrots, beets).
    For analysis, it is recommended to collect about 20-40 ml of urine.
    Urine collected for analysis must be delivered to the laboratory within 2 hours.
