- During the procedure, you should wear comfortable clothing that does not restrict breathing.
- It is recommended to refrain from smoking throughout the course of inhalation therapy.
- After inhalation, rinse your mouth with warm boiled water.
- It is not recommended to eat or drink for 30 minutes after inhalation.
Given the effectiveness of the inhalation method, it still has its contraindications:
These include fever, acute bacterial tonsillitis (sore throat), and intolerance to inhaled medications, which can cause an allergic reaction.
In addition, the procedure is not recommended for patients with a history of nasal or pulmonary bleeding, exacerbations of chronic diseases of the cardiovascular system, in particular hypertension and heart failure.
Inhalations are also contraindicated in myocardial infarction, cerebral atherosclerosis, and recurrent pneumothorax.
