Washing method
Lacunae are washed in two ways: using a vacuum and using a syringe. The mucosa is first treated with an anesthetic, then the mucus is removed.
In the first case, the doctor uses a syringe to flush the lacunae with anti-inflammatory drugs.
Vacuum lavage removes the contents of the lacunae using a vacuum, after which they are filled with medication. This method completely cleanses the tonsils.
After rinsing the lacunae, it is recommended to refrain from eating for another 2-3 hours, and it is also not recommended to drink and smoke.
