  • Contraindication

    acute diseases, intolerance to vaccine components, neurological disorders caused by the previous vaccine, immunodeficiency, malignant neoplasms, blood diseases, the appointment of immunosuppressants and radiation therapy, the presence in the environment of children under the age of 3 months who have not yet been vaccinated against poliomyelitis.

  • Indication

    active prevention of poliomyelitis; formation of immunity against poliomyelitis.

  • When vaccination is done

    vaccination with OPV is carried out starting with the 3rd dose of poliomyelitis. The first 2 doses should be inactivated.

  • Possible reaction to vaccination

    irritation, fever, sleep problems, nausea and vomiting, possible diarrhea.
