The articaine drug allergy test is a laboratory test designed to determine an individual's reaction to this local anesthetic. It is used to assess the risk of allergy and prevent adverse reactions during dental procedures.
An anesthetic allergy test is prescribed to patients before dental treatment using articaine-based drugs (for example, Ubistesin, Ubistesin Forte, Septanest, etc.), as well as if there is a suspicion of an allergic reaction to anesthetics in the anamnesis.
Determining specific IgE to articaine helps to assess the likelihood of allergy and select a safe method of anesthesia.
Indications for the procedure
The study is recommended in the following cases:
- preparation for dental procedures using articaine;

- children - adhere to the usual calm regimen, do not introduce new products before the analysis;
- children over 2 years old - follow the same recommendations as for adults;
