Are your pediatricians reliable?
You know how it is when you say the same, not-so-obvious word to someone interesting at the same time – and you laugh happily: we coincided! So our readers and I are the same. We were very happy to receive a question in direct: "and are your pediatricians demonstrative?"
☝️ Not just pediatricians! All our doctors are evidence-based. This is one of several "filters" to become part of our team.
But what does "evidence-based medicine" mean? And why do we only have such specialists? We tell you:
- We rely on science, not myths.
Our "yes" is to unified protocols, reliable clinical studies, and scientifically proven facts. Our "yes" is to grandmother's methods (no offense to grandmothers), trendy remedies, and "let's try it, they say it helps" - a resolute "no"! - We don't prescribe anything extra.
Unnecessary tests, additional "don't hurt" medications, homeopathy, antibiotics just in case - no, this is not about us. The goal of "raising the check" and pediatric medicine are not compatible for us (adult medicine, by the way, too). - We adhere to the principle of safety.
We do not prescribe medications and methods with unproven effectiveness. "Do no harm" is our Constitution. Period. - We respect our parents.
We listen carefully, we don't intimidate, we don't look for anything else to treat the child for, we don't delay treatment, we answer questions clearly and explain in an accessible way why we prescribed exactly what we prescribed. Not every mother is a doctor, but every mother knows, feels, and loves her child like no one else in the world.
A child's body is an amazingly balanced system that is also constantly growing. Have you noticed that this balance has been disrupted somewhere? Our task is to find the cause and help restore it. We approach it with all responsibility: meaningfully, accurately and conscientiously. Let's raise a healthy child together!
