  • How to prepare for the analysis?
    There is no special preparation for stool analysis. A sterile container is used to collect feces, which can be purchased at a pharmacy or "Mamin Dom" polyclinic. You can also use any sterile container. At home, feces are collected in the amount of 1 teaspoon after natural defecation. It is strictly forbidden to do an enema to collect feces. Avoid getting urine and genital secretions into the feces.
    14 days before taking a stool test, you should stop taking antibacterial drugs, cancel rectal suppositories, and use laxatives. After stool collection, the material must be delivered to the laboratory within 2 hours (strictly). Freezing, long-term storage of feces is not allowed, a tightly closed container is required. Biomaterial collected the day before is not subject to research.
