  • Contraindication

    Contraindications: hypersensitivity to any component of the vaccine, if a neurological complication was detected after previous vaccination. Vaccination is not given to children who have a history of convulsions, diseases accompanied by fever, as well as children who suffer from uncontrolled epilepsy, progressive encephalopathy, and people receiving immunosuppressive therapy.

  • Side effects

    Side effects: loss of appetite, irritability, drowsiness, diarrhea, fever, redness, rash, pain and swelling at the injection site may occur after vaccination. In the presence of mechanical inclusions or a strange color of the solution, the use of the vaccine is unacceptable.

Against what:

Application

Application: injection of the vaccine in a dose of 0.5 ml intramuscularly, in younger children into the quadriceps muscle of the thigh, in older children into the deltoid muscle. It is allowed to administer the vaccine subcutaneously. Intravenous administration is categorically contraindicated. Before vaccination, an examination of the child is indicated, to exclude contact with SARS patients. Patients should be under medical supervision for 30 minutes after administration of the vaccine.

  • Indication

    Indications: a vaccine intended for the prevention of purulent-septic diseases caused by Haemophilus influenzae (Haemophilus influenzae type b strain). "Hiberix" does not prevent diseases caused by other types of Haemophilus influenzae.
