The vaccine should be administered intramuscularly in a dose of 0.5 ml, in the area of the thigh or deltoid muscle. It is strictly forbidden to administer the vaccine intravenously, subcutaneously and intradermally.
Before vaccination, an examination of the child is indicated, to exclude contact with SARS patients.
Patients should be under medical supervision for 30 minutes after administration of the vaccine.
The vaccine is used for primary immunization of children from 3 months of age against diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, poliomyelitis, and for revaccination.
Hypersensitivity to any component of the vaccine or a reaction to the component of whooping cough, if complications were detected after previous vaccination, in the case of a disease accompanied by fever, in the presence of a history of progressive encephalopathy, convulsions.
